The Emergency department provides care day or night for acute illnesses and
injuries. Physicians and nurses specializing in emergency medicine are always
available and other specialists are called on an as-needed basis.

Our emergency facilities are close to many Midlands cities and communities.
That’s one reason ours are the busiest in South Carolina. But there are other factors

Diagnostic Rooms
Our Radiology department operates three diagnostic rooms in the Emergency
department. The rooms are positioned directly between the Radiology and
Emergency departments, which adjoin one another on the main hospital level.
